.THE WORDS disinformation and misinformation are frequently used interchangeably. Yet there is an understated difference in their meaning. Disinformation is actually when incorrect information is spread along with the intent to trick, frequently as component of a co-ordinated campaign.
False information is when incorrect information is unexpextedly spread out, for instance by repeating a rumour to a pal or even reposting an unverified insurance claim on a social-media platform.
